Not too long ago we were previewed into ɑn exclusive interview with ɑ perfect gentleman, with then a lot aspirations, his still the ladies' man, ɑn example to many, ɑ hunk in nollywood industry, a model and TV presenter. He was nominated and he won the City People's award. Meet DKD in his own words.
Q1 For the sake of our new readers can you introduce yourself?
Ans: My name is Daniel K Daniel, known in some circles simply as "Dkd". I'm an African Actor.
Q2 As a result you were awarded ɑ result of your hard work in the industry. Can u tell us what award you were given?
Ans: I recently received the CITY PEOPLE AWARD for the BEST NEW ACTOR of the Year (2014)
Q3: Tell us what are you experiencing now that you are currently on the spot light?
Ans: *Laughs* Well, the usual, I still try to live a very normal life, work hard, and on rare occasions when I can, I play Really hard too! Lots of jobs are coming my way and I am very grateful to God for these opportunity.
Q4: Kindly enlighten us, according to your opinion, why you are worthy of this award?
Ans: Hmmm **exhales** The Judges/experts felt I did, who am I to complain or think differently. In any case am happy i came out victorious.
Q5: BEST ACTOR MALE 2014 correct me if am wrong. Hmmm!!! What next?
Ans: Actually it's Best NEW Actor Male and not BEST ACTOR MALE. i believe my next move is gunning for BEST ACTOR by God's Grace next Year.
Q6 What's the name of the movie you did that placed you up as a nominee for the award?
Ans Hmmm!!! *thinking** It's Book of Judas
Q7 What has always been and still is your strategy?
Ans Same as always...Continuously Work Hard, stay humble, stay happy, and most importantly stay close to God Almighty, HE has seen me through alot.

Q7 What was your greatest moment
Ans So far I'd say the recognition I'm getting for all the hard work and sleepless nights to me it my dreams coming to pass.
Q8 As the best actor of the year, what do you plan doing next?
Ans: Like I said earlier, I plan to keep working hard and aiming higher for bigger and better things. *smiles*
Q9 Who were the other nominees that were nominated along side you?
Ans: Blossom ChukwuJekwu, Zubby Michael, Michael Godson if I can remember correctly.
Q10 Have you been nominated in any other award ceremony coming up any time soon?
Ans: Yes I have.
Q11 what Award?
Ans: I got a nomination last week in the BEST OF NOLLYWOOD (BON) Awards, "Revelation of the Year" category.
Q12: Permit us to ask you this question? Among all the careers why acting? And do you think you are fulfilling ur purpose?
Ans:I never really wanted to be an actor when I was growing up, not at all. I stumbled into acting just as I was graduating from the University, fell in love with it straightaway despite the very stress and demanding nature of the job. Yes I believe and know I am fulfilling my purpose, by impacting people's lives positively through the media.
Q13: Tell us **wispering** which of the female nollywood celebrity(ies) you had ɑ̤̥̈̊ crush on? Because we heard from a reliable source that you were dating one beauty queen?
Ans: None! They're mostly my friends/Colleagues and I have a very good working relationship with them.
Q14: Which role(s) do you enjoy acting the most and why?
Ans: I enjoy acting all kinds of roles. I pride myself on being a very versatile actor who can fit into any character. I have been lucky/blessed enough to not be stereotyped into any particular kind of role.

Ans: *laughs really hard* Yes I am

Ans: You can always expect the very best from Daniel K Daniel, Just finished filming a lovely new movie titled "Devil in Red" starring Yul Edochie and I, and currently filming a beautiful story for AMOF/Mnet
titled "Same Difference starring Kiki Omeili and I. I intend to keep thrilling and fascinating, so help me God.
